Agnes Ann Reed

Lifelong resident of Newark, Ohio, Agnes Ann is a graduate of St. Francis de Sales Elementary and Newark Catholic High School. She received her bachelor's degree in graphic design from The College of Mount Saint Joseph, Cincinnati. Following, Agnes attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, earning her associate degree in Mortuary Science.
In the fall of 1995, Agnes joined her father, Richard P. Reed, at the family firm and is the current owner and operator.
She met her husband, Michael, at The College of Mount Saint Joseph, and they married in 1997. They have 4 children, all of whom have grown up in the funeral home helping with many of the daily tasks.
Agnes Ann is a lifelong parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and member of the Progressive Club and past president of The Twentieth Century Club.
Serving her local community as a licensed funeral professional for 30 years has given Agnes the understanding of the importance of her role, and the ability to serve your family with sincerity and compassion, designing services with dignity that every family deserves.

Christopher Urbiel
Office Manager
Christopher Urbiel has been affiliated with Reed-Egan since 2017, providing office and funeral assistance as well as being the organist for chapel services.
He has served the deceased and their families since the age of 18, beginning as a cemetery worker. For several years, he was administrator of parish cemeteries in Newark and subsequently Zanesville, and has been a church musician since high school, currently serving Zanesville St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
Christopher and his wife, Sharon, are natives of Michigan and have resided in central Ohio since 2014.
