Private funeral services celebrating the life of Virginia "Ginny" Frances Connor, 60, of Alexandria, will be held at a later date.

Ginny died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota on September 18, 1957 to the late William W. and Frances J. (Gilliam) Hayes.

She was a lover of animals and was an avid reader, especially Harry Potter. She enjoyed collecting pop-up books and all things miniature, and also enjoyed finding and collecting the many different variations of the Monopoly board game. Above all, Ginny loved spending time with her family, and shared many laughs with them while watching British TV Comedies.

She is survived by her children, Carrie Connor and Cory Connor, and their father Kenneth Connor; her siblings, Laura (David) Barraza, Michael Hayes, and Thomas (Elaine) Hayes; several nieces and nephews; and her many beloved cats.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was preceded in death by her nephew, David Barraza.
