Timothy Paul Hess

Timothy Paul Hess, a medic with the United States Navy, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. He was born in Tonawanda, New York on August 15, 1956, to the late George Murray and Margaret (Cudney) Hess.

A 1974 graduate of Tonawanda High School, Timothy earned his BS in Business Administration from Niagara University. He retired after working many years as a financial manager. He enjoyed playing golf, riding motorcycles, and listening to music, especially Pink Floyd.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Edgington) Hess; children, Dominic (Makayla) Selby, Bryant (Rebecca) Pike, and Jennifer Hess; grandchildren, Wrenn, Sunny, and Colson; siblings, Kindle (Mary Lou) Hess and Buddy (Donna) Hess; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life with military honors will be held at the family home, details to be announced.
