A graveside service celebrating the life and service of Thomas W. LaRosa, along with his late wife, H. Joyce LaRosa, will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 275 N. Cedar St., Newark, 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 with Deacon Bryant Haren officiating. Military honors will be performed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Tom, 71, passed away on June 20, 2018 in Menifee, CA. He was born September 22, 1946 in Waltham, MA to the late Patrick and Evelyn [Bailey] LaRosa. Tom graduated from Waltham High School and joined the service at age seventeen, serving tours of duty in Vietnam. He retired as Master Sergeant after 21 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. One of the many highlights of his career was his appointment to Concierge for the Presidential flight aboard Air Force II for President Gerald Ford. Tom resided in Menifee, CA, formerly of Hemet, CA. He enjoyed peaceful hours fishing and painting.
Tom will be deeply missed by his children, Thomas LaRosa, Laura Cutler Delorato and Andrew LaRosa; grandchildren, Brandy, Evelyn, Cameron, Katerina, Andrea, Olive, Lillian and Jacklyn; sisters, Kathleen Miceli and Susan (Stan) Dawid; along with many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death his first wife, Susan Cutler LaRosa; second wife, H. Joyce LaRosa; and brother, David LaRosa.
