Graveside funeral services for Thomas V. Jordan, 76, of Newark will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 23, 2014 with Rev. JCP Sullivan, Parish Priest as celebrant, and with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Tom, a member of the Catholic faith, died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 18, 2014. He was born in Newark, Ohio on October 21, 1937 to the late Bernard and Elizna (Osborn) Jordan.

Tom, a retired security guard, worked for many years as the night guard at Dow Chemical. Prior to this time, he worked at Larson Saw, Holophane, and was a livery driver for Henderson-Vanatta-Johnston and Criss Brothers Funeral Homes.

Tom was a United States Army Veteran and was an avid gun collector and trader. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and camping.

Tom, the last of his immediate family, is survived by good friends, Ann Howard, Robin Peirce, and Sally and John Hile.
