Funeral services celebrating the life of Thomas W. Gallup, 75, of Heath, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 6, 2022, with Chaplain Jeff Smith as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 9-11 A.M. prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.  Inurnment will follow in Jacksontown Cemetery.

Tom died at Select Specialty Hospital of Newark on Monday, August 29, 2022.  He was born in Elyria, Ohio on March 3, 1947, to the late W. Gordon and Ethel Mae (Hoskin) Gallup.

A 1965 graduate of Harding High School, Tom received his degree in mechanical engineering from Marion Technical College and retired in 2003 from Pac-Tec, Heath.  Following his retirement, Tom worked part-time at the Southgate AutoZone.  He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, camping, and riding motorcycles.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Wanda (Parish) Gallup; daughter, Laura Gallup; and sister, Sandra Gallup.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his son, Bryan W. Gallup.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name can be made to the American Heart Association Central Ohio Chapter, 118 Graceland Blvd., Suite 258, Columbus, OH 43214.
