Funeral Services for Susie P. Glass, 75, of Newark, will be held at Reed-Egan Funeral Home, privately for family and close friends.

Susie died at her grandson's home on Saturday, February 14, 2026. She was born in South Boston, Virginia on May 12, 1950, to the late Lenny Sebastian and Maria (Kink) Pool Jr.

A 1968 graduate of Halifax High School, Susie earned her BA in Business from Rutgers University. She retired from Lowes Home improvement after working 21 years in their garden departments.

Susie was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling to Myrtle Beach with her sisters.

She is survived by her son, Richard Glass Jr; grandchildren, Justin (Katie) Glass and Jorden (Tyler) Smallwood; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Grayson, Hazel, and Evelyn; sister, Laura (Don) Toms; brother-in-law, Larry Jester; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved feline companion, Sebastian.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jackie Glass; and sisters, Roswitha "Tootsie" Jester, Gloria Pool, and Easter "Punkin" Edge.
