A Mass of Christian Burial for Sue Ann Wolfe, 75, of Newark, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 1, 2022 with Fr. Anthony Lonzo as celebrant.

Sue passed away at Riverside Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2022.  She was born in Newark, Ohio on November 3, 1947, to the late George H. and Marie T. (Wachaya) Biddle.

A 1965 graduate of Newark Catholic High School, Sue was an active volunteer at St. Francis Elementary and Newark Catholic High School during her children's tenure at both.  She was an avid reader and loved to tell stories with great animation.

Sue was devoted to her family and cherished the time spent with them. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years, Walter Wolfe; her children, Michael Wolfe (Georganna Acord), Thaddeus Wolfe, Heather Wolfe (Rick Lake), and Nicholas Wolfe; 6 grandchildren, Justin, Waylon, Taylor (Josh) Amore, Brandon, Morgann, and Katelyn; two great-grandchildren, Mason (her ray of sunshine), and Loralei (her little sunbeam); sister-in-law, Kerrin Biddle; brother-in-law, John Wolfe; several nieces and nephews; and her special cousins who were a great help to her, Nancy Shonebarger and Chris Pourier.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother, George A. Biddle; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and William Miller; and sister-in-law, Sally Wolfe.

Friends and family may call at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 4-7 P.M., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, with a Vigil Service held at 6:30 P.M.
