Funeral services celebrating the life of Stephen Phillip Langwasser, 56, of Newark, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 1 P.M., Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant.  Inurnment will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Stephen died at his home on Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 22, 1968, to Thelma (Summers) Langwasser, of Heath, and the late Richard H. Langwasser.

He attended Sheridan Elementary and High School and was a graduate of Bexley High School. Following, Stephen served in the Ohio National Guard and worked for several local retailers.

In addition to his mother, Stephen is survived by his siblings, Richard (Diane) Langwasser, Jr., Mary (Steve) Sech, Patricia "Patty" (Gary) Childers, Mike (Taryn) Langwasser, Bill (Diann) Langwasser, Joe (Liliane) Langwasser, and Susan (Jacob) Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Stephen was preceded in death by his nephew, Gary Dean Childers Jr.
