A Funeral Mass for Stephen A. Grigsby, 58, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 10:30 A.M., Thursday, May 10, 2018, with Fr. David Sizemore as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Stephen, a lifelong parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Saturday, May 5, 2018. He was born in Newark on May 8, 1959 to Paul Grigsby of Newark, and the late Patricia (Stasel) Grigsby.
Stephen was a 1977 graduate of Newark High School and worked with RR Donnelley as a machine operator for 26 years. He also worked as a house painter.
In his spare time, Stephen enjoyed mushroom hunting and searching for great finds at local yard sales. He loved to visit the beach and comb for treasure there as well. Above all, Stephen adored spending time with his grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as "Baby Granpa".
In addition to his father, Stephen is survived by his children, Brian (Drew) Grigsby and Amy Evans (Amber Oelker) and their mother, Barbara Grigsby; grandchildren, Gavin, Giovanni, and Kasyn; brothers, David (Bonnie), Mark (Linda), James (Cindy), and William (Donna) Grigsby; and 2 nephews, Bradley (Erin) Grigsby and Jonathan Grigsby.

Friends and family may call from 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
