Private graveside funeral services celebrating the life of Shirley Ann Rose, 84, of Newark, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark, with Rev. G. Michael Gribble as celebrant.

Shirley died at her home on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.  She was born in Newark, Ohio on August 18, 1936, to the late Harry and Lena (Pettibone) Crothers.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 60 years, David Rose Sr.  In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her son, David Rose Jr.
