A Funeral Mass for Shirley L. Collmar, 81, of Newark, will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 15, 2017, with Msgr. Paul Enke as celebrant.

Shirley, a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, died at her home on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on February 12, 1936 to the late George and Lillian (Hess) Waller.

Shirley was retired from Allen Refractories where she worked for many years with inside sales.

She is survived by her children, Jerri (Tim) Myers, Michael Collmar, and Kristine (Roy) Brewer; 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Star; brother-in-law, Chuck Haggerty; sisters-in-law, Nancy Richards, Jeanine Donaldson, Becky (Jim) Kohn; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Collmar; sister, Tilly Haggerty.
