A Mass of Christian Burial for Scott Jeffrey Wise, 54, of Newark, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Friday, January 31, 2025, with Fr. Anthony Lonzo as celebrant. Inurnment in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark, will be held at a later date.
Scott, a parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, died at his home on Monday, January 20, 2025. He was born in Newark, Ohio on November 18, 1970, to Linda (Quinn) Wise Frank, of Newark, and the late John Wise.

A 1989 graduate of Newark High School and member of the "Angels of 89", Scott was known for his big smile and bright personality. He studied Computer Aided Design and worked in the surveying field for many years.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his brother, Keith (Jennifer) Wise; nephew, Aryton J. Wise; niece, Shannon Black; great niece, Sadie Black, several aunts and uncles, many cousins; his beloved canine companion, Norma Jean; and many friends of Bill.

In addition to his father, Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Stacey Wise; and nephew, Michael Craig Wise.

Calling hours will be held at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark Ohio, 5-7 P.M., Thursday, January 30, 2025, with a Vigil Service held at 4:45 P.M.
