Funeral services celebrating the life of Ruth Elizabeth Richter, 91, of Marysville and formerly of Heath, will be held at Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, with Fr. Bill Hritsko as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 9:30-10 A.M., prior to the service on Wednesday.

Ruth, a parishioner of St. Leonard Catholic Church, died at Heritage Senior Living of Marysville on Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was born in Newark, Ohio on March 17, 1932, to the late Earl and Mary (Davis) Moran.

A 1951 graduate of Newark High School, Ruth worked locally as a telephone dispatcher and bank teller, eventually retiring from Rural Electric.

She is survived by her daughter, Gailmarie Amjuli; son, Mark Pipes; stepdaughter, Randi (Karl) Crook; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren (plus two more on the way); 1 great-great-grandchild; son-in-law, David Brittingham; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Rodger; daughters, Jacque Moretti and Julie Brittingham; stepdaughter, Roberta Price; and siblings, Irene Cates, Carl Moran, Charles Moran, Clara Selby, Harry Moran, Bill Moran, Helen Regguintti and Kenneth Moran.
