Obituary

Rosemary Baker, 79, of Newark, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Saturday, December 31, 2016. She was born in Shelbyville, Illinois on March 10, 1937.

Rosemary was retired form the Davenport, Iowa Department of Corrections where she worked for many years assisting people with their community service. Rosemary was a giving individual who volunteered with several community services including R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), the Safer Foundation, and the Senior Voice among others.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Martin Baker; her daughter, Susan (Peter) Larson of Granville; her son, James (Stacy) Baker of Cuyahoga Falls; her grandchildren, Eliza and Amelia Larson; Zac, Christian, and Andrew Baker; her sister, Patricia Kensil, and her children Brian (Sandy) Kensil, Janet Kensil, and Marla (Larry) Eversole.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Rosemary will be scheduled at a later date.
