Private memorial services celebrating the life of Rose Mary Justus, 87, of Newark, were held this week. Rose Mary died at her home on Monday, September 25, 2017. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio on August 16, 1930 to the late Benjamin Jacobs and Ruth (Azbell) Jacobs Kile.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Justus, Edward (Jeannie) Justus, Jeff (Sandi) Justus, Tama Anthony (Steve Allen), Laura (Nabil) Eljallad, Mike Justus, Kim Justus, and Lisa (Tim) Harper; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat Chapman, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Justus Jr.; daughter, Patricia (Don) Logsdon; her grandson, Jeffrey Ryan Justus; and siblings, Louise Rock and Bud Jacobs.

The family requests that memorials is Rose Mary's name be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.
