A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Robert "Bob" H. Campbell Jr., 69, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, with Fr. Bob died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.  He was born in Tazewell, Virginia on February 11, 1952, to the late Robert Houston and Lillian Camille (Anderson) Campbell Sr.

Bob worked as the director of communications for FIBRNEW-WeFixLeather, was a senior systems programmer/analyst at Huntington Banks and was a business consultant with Dechert-Hampe at various companies across the country.  Over the years Bob lived in Columbus, OH, Los Angeles, CA, and moved to his present home in Newark five years ago to be closer to his family and long-time friends. Bob was an avid OSU Buckeyes, LA Dodgers, and LA Rams fan. He enjoyed nature, gardening, and fishing, especially ocean fishing with his father-in-law. He had amazing culinary skills and loved preparing holiday meals.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Rhonda (Bublitz) Campbell; sister, Sharon Hawkins, twin sister, Rhonda (Marvin) Radford, and sister, Theresa (Anthony) Harris; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Rosemary (Kuck) Bublitz; longtime friends, Stephan (Linda) Jones and Alan (Darla) Gore; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved chihuahua sidekick, Tipper.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Gale Campbell and Lillian Hawkins.
