Graveside funeral services for Rebecca Sue Ware, 72, of Columbus, will be held at Wilson Cemetery, 4254 Marion Road, Newark, 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2024, with Pastor Dave Brown as officiant. A celebration of life will follow at Jacksontown United Methodist Church.

Becky, a graduate of Sheridan High School, was born in Compton, California on February 19, 1952, to the late Billy Ware, Lowell A. and Marilyn (Roby) Hinerman.

She was retired from The Ohio State University Hospital where she worked for over 30 years in medical records. Becky enjoyed music, playing the guitar and singing. She had endless family and friends whom she loved to shop for and spoil with gifts. Last but not least, Becky was a longtime devoted fan of "General Hospital", keeping up with the storyline for years.

Becky is survived by her siblings, Cynthia (Larry) Saling, Mark (Barb) Hinerman, Laura (John) Beard, Stuart (Carissa) Hinerman, Terri (Murrell) Fisher, Michael Ware, Tammy Ware, Danny Ware, and Glenn (Stacy) Ware; aunt, Sandra (Don) Rice; and many nieces and nephews who adored their "Aunt BB".

She is also survived by many longtime friends; Kathy Fretwell, Dick and Shana Donnell from her years at church, and many good friends from her years of working at Ohio State University Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, Becky was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Ware; and her aunt, Sharon Gaston.
