Private graveside services celebrating the life of Philip Robison Young, 72, of Newark, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Fr. David Sizemore as celebrant.  Military honors will be presented by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Phil, a United States Navy Veteran, died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Thursday, February 4, 2021.  He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 20, 1948, to the late Philip B. and Rosemary (Robison) Young.

A 1966 graduate of Newark Catholic High School, Phil attended Georgetown University, receiving both his undergraduate and law degrees.  He worked as an attorney in the Newark area, retiring in 1995.

An avid card player, Phil was a Master of Bridge and also enjoyed playing poker and a round of golf with his friends.

Phil is survived by his brother, Thomas Young.
