A Requiem Mass for Paul R. O'Neill Jr., 68, of Dallas, Texas, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Newark, 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 23, 2019 with Fr. Kevin Lutz as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark.

Paul, a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Richland Hills, Texas, died at The Ohio State University Medical Center on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on July 20, 1950 to the late Paul and Patricia (Smith) O'Neill.

Paul was a retired from PRO Exploration where he was a geophysical consultant and traveled quite extensively with his job. He spent this past year in Newark caring for his mother, Patricia, prior to her death in October 2018.

He is survived by his brother Edmund S. O'Neill; several cousins; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Francis Xavier O'Neill; and sister, Sr. Patricia Jane Marie S.C..
