A Funeral Mass for Minnie Giorgetti Andrews, 97, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, July 2, 2014, with Fr, Jonathan Wilson as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Minnie died at the Autumn Health Care Center on Sunday June 29, 2014. She was born in Newark, Ohio on March 19, 1917 to the late Alfredo and Noemi (Simi) Giorgetti.

Minnie was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and was a member of the Sons of Italy Rinascimento Lodge and Zerger Hall.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Howard Andrews and Sara Norris of Newark, her daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Mike Penland of Laurinburg, NC, and Rita and Dennis Will of Pataskala; her grandchildren, Todd (Cassie) Penland, Christopher Penland, Matthew Penland, and Colton Andrews; her sisters and brother-in-law, Irma (Don) DeVault, and Louise Ellis, all of Newark; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Andrews; her brother, George Giorgetti; her sisters, Sr. Coletta Giorgetti O.P. and Giselda (Gerald T.) Ernest; her daughter-in-law, Jan Andrews; and her brother-in-law, Richard Ellis.

Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2014, at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 6:30 P.M.
