Obituary

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Michael T. "Tim" Davino, 76, of St. Louisville, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Thursday, February 9, 2023, with Fr. Anthony Lonzo as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Tim, a lifelong parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, passed peacefully at his home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was born in Newark, Ohio on January 25, 1947, to the late Michael F. "Mack" and Jean Evelyn (Negele) Davino.

A 1965 graduate of Utica High School and United States Army Veteran, Tim was a farmer by heart, a passion that he inherited from his grandfather. Widely known for Davino's Fresh Produce, serving Licking County for over 45 years, Tim was a farmer who loved to work in the outdoors ad provide for his community. Staffed by 5 generations of Davinos over the years, a visit to the produce stand would guarantee you a friendly conversation in addition to your favorite homegrown produce.

Tim was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 55 years, Karen (Wright) Davino; his daughters, Maria (Cliff) Bigler, Jennifer (Troy) Merrill, and Eydie (Curt) Hoskinson; 8 grandchildren, Tessa (Adam) Hughes, Mercedes (Tyler) Wilson, Kyle (Ryan) Bigler, Madison (Dakota) Young, Kyra Koski (Jason), Kevin (Bree) Bigler, Taya Bigler and Troy (Addi) Koski; 10 great-grandchildren, Katherine and Aubrey Hughes, Bentleigh, Cooper and Larkin Wilson, River Young, Hunter Bigler, Kaison and Emmerson Koski, and Rayna Bigler; brother, Doug (Mary Ann) Davino; siblings-in-law, John (Carol ) Wright, Eydie Keim, and Larry (Linda) Wright; longtime family friend, Jo Ann Annett; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Davino; and brother-in-law, Hummel Keim.

Friends and family may call at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 4-7 P.M., Wednesday, February 8, 2023, with a Vigil Service led by Deacon Bob Ghiloni at 6:30 P.M.
