A private Mass of Christian Burial for Michael Anthony Adam, 65, of Newark, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament with Fr. Anthony Lonzo as celebrant. Inurnment will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Mike died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Thursday, April 27, 2023. He was born in Newark, Ohio on July 26, 1957, to the late Bernard D. and Ruth (Brogan) Adam.

A lifelong Newark resident, Mike worked in the building trades, and thoroughly enjoyed a full career at the Wigwam, working with Wolfe companies. He fished, hunted, and was a consummate horticulturist.

Mike was beloved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his brothers, Steve Adam and David (Tommy Sue) Adam; sisters, Paulette (Craig) O'Brien and Nanette (Rob) Romine; and brother-in-law, Joseph Nemeth. Mike also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were his particular joy, all of whom love to share amazing stories of Mike's humor and affection.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Bernadette Nemeth.
