Melanie Ann Dennis, 66, of Newark, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Friday, March 7, 2025. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 26, 1959, to the late Walter and Minetta (Poe) Sego.

Melanie lived an adventurous life, traveling at a young age to California. She returned to Ohio and spent many years working as a nail technician at her salon in Logan, Ohio. She selflessly embraced the role of caregiver and dedicated herself to the care of her mother when needed most.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Alexandria Rogers; grandchildren, Leah and Makenna; siblings, Denise Snyder Sego and Dana Michael Sego Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Melanie was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Diana Sego.

A Celebration of Life for Melanie will be held at a later date.
