Calling hours celebrating the life of Mary Helen Villacres, 50, formerly of Newark, will be held at the REED EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 6-8 P.M., Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Private funeral services for Mary will be held on Thursday with interment following in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Mary, a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, died at Brookdale Trillium Crossing on Sunday, May 7, 2017. She was born in Newark, Ohio on August 11, 1966 to Jorge Villacres of Columbus and formerly of Newark, and the late Roberta "Bobbie" (Wolf) Villacres.

Mary was a 1984 graduate of Newark High School. She loved being with her family and cherished the time at family gatherings. She liked to cross-stitch, often while watching her favorite TV programs, and was also a fan of country music. For many years, Mary was devotedly cared for by her family, especially by her late mother, Bobbie.

In addition to her father, Mary is also survived by her siblings, Thomas (Brenda), Edward (Penny), John, James (Julie), and Margaret (Michael) Carey; her nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Gabriel) Watt, Heather, Nicholas, Andrew, Amanda, Alyssa, Edward Jr., Isabella, James, Jessica, Jenna, Katherine, Meagan; great-niece, Gabriela; aunts and uncles, Rose Marie Pfeiffer, Regina (Patrick) Kelleher, Joseph (Patricia) Wolf Jr., Marilyn Wolf, Francine Craig, and Martha (James) Bagrowski; and many cousins.
