Funeral services for Mary E. (Wilson) Thedos, 95, of Newark, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, Friday, May 15, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Michael Rector as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 4-7 P.M. prior to the funeral service.

Mary died at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on Monday, May 11, 2015. She was born in Horton, Michigan on February 19, 1920 to the late George and Frances (Graf) Wilson.

Mary was retired from the WCVO Radio Station, currently The River, where she worked for many years as the bookkeeper. Prior to this, Mary worked in the offices of the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Jackson Citizen Patriot, and the El Paso Times. She attended the First Southern Baptist Church of Johnstown and served on the Board of the Licking County Art Association.

She is survived by her son, Donald A. Thedos of Grove City; her daughters, Susan E. (Ronald) Schroeder of North Bend, Oregon, and Judith G. Thedos of Newark; her son-in-law, Barry Riley of Newark; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jeremy, Amy (Brad), Kristen (Jon), and Caitlin; 5 great-grandchildren; her sister, Eulalia Chase of Hillsdale, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn A. Riley; her twin infant sons, Jack and Jerry Thedos; her husband, Jack V. Thedos; and her sister, F. Monica Cranmore.
