A Funeral Mass for Mary Ann McClintock, 85, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 11, 2017 with Rev. JCP Sullivan, Parish Priest as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. McClintock, a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, passed away Thursday July 6, 2017 at Sharonbrooke Senior Residence. She was born June 6, 1932 in Junction City, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Coffman) Paxton. She was married to Arthur E. McClintock for 65 years. He preceded her in death in 2013.

Mary Ann was a homemaker, a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. She was an excellent cook who provided wonderful holiday meals for her family. She enjoyed tending her flower garden, shopping, and playing cards with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Thomas) Conard; sons and daughters-in-law, John (Wilma) McClintock, Robert (Julie) McClintock, Larry McClintock, Brett (Stephanie) McClintock; grandchildren, Steven (Carolina) McClintock, Lisa (Matthew) Austin, Tammy Lamp, Tonya (Troy) Orahood, Hollie Fosnaught, Amy Gardner, Sara (Douglas) Wallen, Crystal Justas, Stacey, Jonathan, Nicholas, Ethan, Matthew, Andrew, and Emily McClintock; 23 great grandchildren; brother, Donald (Macille) Paxton; sisters-in-law Miriam Bolyard and Irma Paxton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her son Steve; her brothers, William and Merle Paxton; and sisters, Helen Jinks and Ethel Krischak
