A Funeral Mass for Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Howes-Wilson, 89, of Newark, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2014, with Fr. Jonathan Wilson as celebrant. Interment will follow in Hanover Cemetery.

Libby died at the Sharonbrooke Senior Living Center on Friday, September 5, 2014. She was born in Mamaroneck, NY on August 15, 1925, the daughter of Karl and Mary (Nicewicz) Wagner.

Libby, a parishioner of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, enjoyed traveling, bowling, playing bingo, working on crafts, and above all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Nancy and Peter Papa Jr. of Kennett Square, PA, Geraldine "Gerry" and Don Spellman of Newark, Kenneth and Marla Howes of Tucson, AZ, Georgia and Dwight Smith of Frederick, MD, and Cindy and Nick Antonelli of South Bend, IN; her grandchildren, Shelia Papa Schlosser, Angela (Randy) Mariano , Peter (Rana) Papa III, Darlene (Craig) Jordan, Matthew (Marcy) Papa, Shelley (Dean) Finneyfrock, Greg Smith, and Justin Howes; her great-grandchildren, Gia, Anthony, and Nicholas Mariano, Gina and Alexander Papa, and Renee and Anabelle Finneyfrock; her step-children, Ralph "Butch" and Louise Wilson, Linda and David Carney, Alice Sorg, Ginger and Jack Sheppard, Harry and Sue Wilson, Rick Wilson, and Sandy Eltringham and her family, Ashley, Drew and Ellie; step son-in-law, Jim Watkins; several nieces and nephews; step-grandchildren; and step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Libby was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilson "Al" Howes; her second husband, Ralph L. Wilson Sr.; two infant daughters, Bonnie Jean Howes and Sally Ann Howes; her siblings, Frank, John, Phil Sr., Karl, Caroline, and Catherine; her step-daughter, Marilyn Watkins; and her grandson-in-law, Paul Schlosser.

Friends and family may call from 4-8 P.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
