A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Lou Langwasser, 87, of Wilton Manors, Florida, will be held at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Thursday, September 25, 2025, with Msgr. Paul Enke as celebrant.

Mary Lou died at the Inn at Chapel Grove on Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio on August 12, 1938, to the late Henry Paul and Mary (Sullivan) Langwasser.

A graduate of St. Mary's High School (Lancaster), Mary Lou attended St. Mary's College (Indiana) and Mount Carmel School of Nursing. At age 20, Mary Lou moved to Florida and worked as a medical technician with Lauderdale Medical Group until her retirement. She just recently returned home to the Newark area.

Mary Lou was very devoted to her faith and was also an avid reader who enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and cheering on the Florida Marlins.

In addition to her parents, Mary Lou was preceded in death by her 5 brothers, Paul, Reagan, Jay, Richard, and John "Jack" Langwasser. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
