Graveside funeral services celebrating the life of Marjorie Ann Pastorius, 92, of Newark, will be held at Wilson Cemetery, 11 A.M., Friday, October 27, 2023, with Pastor John Ault as celebrant.

Marjorie, a devoted member of Family of Faith Community Church, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  She was born in Tiffin, Ohio on August 12, 1931, to the late Francis and Helen (Andrews) Weller.

A graduate of Calvert High School, Marjorie attended Bowling Green University and was a member of the first graduating RN class from COTC. After her children were grown, Marjorie spent many years working as the Head Nurse at Licking Memorial Hospital.

Marjorie was a woman with great faith. She loved to socialize, often while eating out at one of her favorite restaurants.

She is survived by sons, Ronald (Rita) Pastorius, Raymond Jr. (Debbie) Pastorius, Thomas (Qwana) Pastorius, and Franc (Sherry) Pastorius; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Munafo; sister-in-law, Thelma Weller; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pastorius (2013); sons, Joseph Pastorius (1975) and Bradley Pastorius (2005); grandsons, Franc Pastorius Jr. and Wade Rice; sister, Patsy; brother, Michael; and brother-in-law, Tony Munafo.
