Funeral services for Marjorie Ann Lent, 78, of Newark, will be held at Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 2 P.M., Monday, June 23, 2025, with Chaplain Cheryl Simpson as celebrant. Interment will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens. Friends and family may call at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.

Marge, a member of St. Francis de Sales Church, died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. She was born in Trenton, NJ on January 6, 1947, to the late Frederick and Margaret (Papp) Toth. She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1965.

As her children grew up Marge loved volunteering and was queen of the popcorn machine at John Clem elementary school. She loved working at THK Manufacturing where she spent many years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved being outdoors looking at clouds, stars, and all nature had to offer. This love started at an early age when she learned to ride horses. She enjoyed doing word searches, watching TV, especially Christmas movies, as Christmas was her favorite time of year. Family, friends and children meant the world to her. She was a proud grandmother and everyone she met had seen a picture and could feel the love she had for her granddaughter Kennedy.

She will be greatly missed by her husband of 56 years, Paul A. Lent; daughters, Jennifer (Eric) Bates and Kimberly Trapp; granddaughter, Kennedy Trapp; brother, Frederick (Bonnie-Jean) Toth; and many nieces and nephews.
