A Funeral Mass for Kenneth Paul Bowers, 87, formerly of Columbus, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 21, 2016 with Rev. JCP Sullivan as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Kenneth died at Sharon Brook on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was born in Newark on December 9, 1928 to the late Harry W. and Catherine M. (Frischen) Bowers.
Kenneth was a longtime parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Columbus and was a volunteer for many years at The Haven of Hope House in Columbus. As an Army corporal, Kenneth served during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Bowers of Newark; his sisters, Norma Crawmer of Toboso and Shirley Linn of Newark; special friends, Fred and Carol Rodgers and Bud and Ruth Chevier as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Harry W. Bowers; and brothers-in-law, Paul Crawmer, and Benjamin Linn.
