Funeral services celebrating the life of Karrie Dawn Fitzpatrick, 62, of Dublin, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 4-6 P.M., prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.  Private burial services will be held at Wilson Cemetery.

Karrie died at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Sunday, October 9, 2022.  She was born in Denver, Colorado on November 16, 1959, to Michael J. (Lynnette) Fitzpatrick of Newark, Ohio, and the late Gloria L. McKnight.

She was a 1978 graduate of Tri-Valley High School and attended Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. Karrie was the current maintenance coordinator at Keurig Dr. Pepper Inc. where she devoted countless hours each week and made many friends.

Karrie cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, rooting for them at their soccer and horseback riding events, and loved to surprise them with gifts.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Erin (Jesse) Hart and her father, Mike McClung (Rachell Cook); 2 grandchildren, Boston and Marlee Begin; siblings, Michelle Gregory, Leslie Flowers, Summer Flowers, and Bridget (Zeb) Fouty; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her mother, Karrie was preceded in death by her daughter, Corie Linn McClung; brother, Michael W. Fitzpatrick; and brother-in-law, Cecil Gregory.

The family requests that memorials in Karrie's name be made to Bereaved Parents of the USA, Inc., 34 Parish Lane, Lake Katrine, NY 12449.
