Obituary

A Funeral Mass for Juanita Cecutti, 72, of Newark, will be held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 28, 2017, with Rev. G. Michael Gribble, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Juanita died at the Newark Hills Rehabilitation Center on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. She was born in Saltillo, Ohio on August 23, 1944, the daughter of Harold and Leanna (Pace) Crown.

Over the years Juanita worked in sales at Klein's Department Store, Sharff's Fashions, and Rite Aid. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she was a member of the Women of St. Francis and volunteered with the Ministry of Comfort and the elementary school cafeteria. Juanita also enjoyed bowling, was active with the Silver Sneakers, and volunteered as a voting poll worker for many years.

She is survived by her children, Alan J. (Joyce) Cecutti, Nancy A. (Patrick) Carlisle, and Sandra M. (James) Corey; her grandchildren, Amanda (Staff Sergeant Stephen) Card, Megan (Justin) Barry, and Brock Cecutti, Ashley Stuart, Patrick Carlisle II, Ryan (Sarah) Carlisle, Summer and Taylor Cashdollar, and Joe Corey; great-grandchildren, Kendal, and Emerie Card, and Elijah Carlisle; her sisters-in-law, Frances and Angela; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Harry "Joe" Cecutti; an infant son, Stephen E. Cecutti; and her brother, Harold E. Crown Jr.

Friends and family may call from 4-7 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2017, at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 6:30 P.M.
