Obituary

A celebration of life for Joshua Wayne Shaw, 36, of Newark, will be held at Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, January 10, 2024, with Chaplain Cory Campbell as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5-7 P.M. that same evening.

Josh went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. He was born in Henderson, Texas on July 21, 1987, to Dennis Shaw and Terri (Littlefield) Fuller.

Josh attended Licking Valley High School and worked locally as a contract painter. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and golf with his boys. He had a deep passion for music and attended many concerts over the years. Josh had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that was contagious. His family was the most important thing to him, and he cherished the time they spent doing the things they loved.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Jamie (Justice) Shaw, children, Josh Shaw Jr., Jaden Shaw, Julissa Sherman, Brooklyn Pennington and Jordan Pennington; mother and step-father, Terri (Brent) Fuller; father, Dennis Shaw; brother, Colton (Lauren) Shaw; sister, Brittany (Blake) Dowling; step-siblings, Jennifer Fuller, Jessica Hibbeln, and Ryan Fuller; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sharon (James) Justice; maternal grandparents, James and Betty Littlefield, paternal grandmother, Paula Shaw; and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and longtime friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jackie Shaw Sr.
