Funeral services celebrating the life of Janet Kay Curry, 72, of Heath, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, with Pastor Tim Sowards as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Janet died at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.  She was born in Princeton, West Virginia on September 23, 1949, to the late William G. and Ruby (Hare) Linkous.

Janet attended Newark High School and worked at the former Point Pizza and Owens Corning Technical Center.  She enjoyed tending to her birdfeeders, working with flowers, and chatting with her family while sharing a cup of coffee.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Patrick (Thurasa) Curry, Nickolas (Angel) Curry, and Angela (Joshua) Wolfe; 6 grandchildren, Ethan, Linda, Jacob, Katie, Emilee Curry, and Kain Young; brother, Kenneth G. (Kendra) Linkous, half-sister, Terri (Larry) Stickle; her many in-laws, Mollie (Larry) Phillips, Richard "Lee" (Katie) Curry, Linda Curry, and Lewis Peirce; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Curry; and sisters, Vicki M. Warner and Loretta P. Stephenson; and her in-laws, Timothy Patrick Curry and Georgeann Pierce.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., Monday, October 11, 2021.
