Graveside funeral services celebrating the life of Jane Elizabeth Jones, 84, of Westerville, will be held privately at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant.

Jane died at Riverside Methodist Hospital on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born in Penn, Pennsylvania on November 9, 1941, to the late Stanley and Claudine (Wegley) Metelko.

A 1959 graduate of Newark Catholic High School, Jane worked in the financial offices of Denison University until her retirement. She was talented at sewing, especially when it came to embroidery and quilting. Jane also enjoyed playing cards, working puzzles, and was an avid bowler and golfer.

She is survived by her siblings, Emma (John) Garvey and Mark (Brenda) Metelko, longtime friend, Linda Knapke; brother-in-law, Jack Farquhar; sister-in-law, Connie Metelko; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her siblings, Claudia Styers, Stan Metelko, Ruth Farquhar, and Dale Metelko.
