James "Jimmy" Eliu Mills, 57, of Newark, died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born in Newark, Ohio on November 15, 1965, to the late Danel and Rebecca (Johnson) Mills.

Jimmy was an avid fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles and liked to collect '57 Chevy model cars. He enjoyed drinking Natural Light beer and listening to country music, especially George Jones.

He will be missed by his siblings, Elizabeth Kurtz and Wayne Mills; half-siblings, Danel H. Mills Jr, Jonathan Mills, and Beverly Ann Belez; extended family, James and Joshua Newland; special aunt, Betty Delancey; several other aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews.

I n addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his son, James E. Mills Jr; and uncle, Albert Delancey.

Calling hours celebrating the life of Jimmy will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 5-7 P.M., Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
