Inurnment services with full military honors for James Lawrence Davis, 92, resident of SharonBrooke Senior Living, will be held at a Veteran National Cemetery at a later date.

James had a career with the United States Air Force, serving in Vietnam and retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant after 27 years of service. He traveled extensively and had visited all seven continents.  Following his military retirement, James received his Master's in Education from West Virginia University and was an elementary teacher for 20 years.

He is survived by his son, Mike (Kelly) Daivs; daughter, Robin Staub; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Donna (Bowling) Davis; son-in-law, Tom Staub; and brother-in-law, Lloyd (Naomi) Davis.
