Private graveside services celebrating the life of Helen Latham, 92, of Newark, will be held at Wilson Cemetery, with Chaplain Mark Pierce as celebrant.

Helen died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Friday, November 6, 2020.  She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 23, 1928, to the late Harry and Thelma Smith.

She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Emma McIntosh; sons, Robert (Paula) Latham III and Steven (Larissa) Latham; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Latham Jr.; her daughter, Linda (Mike) Johnson, son-in-law, John McIntosh; grandson, Kris Johnson; great-grandson, Travis Delong; brother, Don Latham; and sister, Thelma Latham.

Family would like to add a special thanks to Thurasa (Patrick) Curry and their children for the loving care they provided for Helen this past 6 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Helen's name can be made to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box, 430, Newark, Ohio 43058.  The family would like to thank the hospice nurses from the in-patient unit for their exceptional care.
