A Mass of Christian Burial for Grace Ann Campolo Donaldson, 87, of Newark, will be held at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, May 20, 2025, with Fr. Anthony Lonzo as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Newark.
Grace died at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born in Newark, Ohio on October 2, 1937, to the late Charles P. and Giovanna (Passanite) Campolo.
Devoted to her Catholic faith, Grace was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, lector, and was a member of their Marian Club and Bereavement ministry.
A graduate of Blessed Sacrament Elementary and St. Francis de Sales High School, Class of 1955, Grace earned her Associate Degree from Detroit University and retired from the State of Ohio Bureau of Employment Services.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Victoria (Robert) Brown; and her extended family, including sister-in-law, Lois Campolo, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.
In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Donaldson, 3 brothers, 8 sisters, 5 nephews, 1 niece, and 1 great-nephew.
Calling hours will be held at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark Ohio, 4-6 P.M., Monday, May 19, 2025, with a Vigil Service held at 6 P.M.
Memorials in Grace's name can be made to the Blessed Sacrament School for tuition assistance, 394 E. Main Street, Newark, Ohio 43055.
