Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Sissea, 73, of Newark, died at Whetstone Care Center on Sunday, July 10, 2022.  She was born in Newark, Ohio on February 28, 1949, to the late Harry M. and Marjorie (Driscoll) Armstrong.

Beth was a 1967 graduate of Newark Catholic High School and received her RN Degree from Ohio University, Zanesville.  She was a dedicated nurse with Licking Memorial Hospital for over forty years, where she genuinely cared for many patients over the years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards.  Beth especially enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, and the yearly visits to Myrtle Beach with "the gang"

She will be greatly missed by her husband, of 33 years, George Sissea; her sister, M. Deborah "Debbie" (Dave) Read; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey J. Armstrong.
