Eileen Marie Johnson, 80, of Newark, passed away at her home on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born in Flint, Michigan on June 15, 1943, to the late Harold B. and Doris (Straka) Cuson.

A 1961 graduate of Newark High School, Eileen had worked at Westinghouse and retired from the Ohio Department of Agriculture. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bridge and completing puzzles. As a native of Michigan, Eileen stayed true to her roots and continued to cheer on the University of Michigan.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Paul Johnson; grandchildren, Devyn Quick, Dominic (Lindsay) Quick; brother, Geoffrey A. (Deborah) Cuson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Johnson; daughter, Marcia Lynne Quick; and brothers, Gary M. Cuson and David L. Cuson.

A Celebration of Life for Eileen will be held at a later date.
