Funeral services for Eileen E. Cartwright, 77, of Hebron, will be held at REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 2, 2017. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Eileen, a member of the Methodist faith, died at her home on Monday, January 30, 2017. She was born in Beaver, Pennsylvania on September 27, 1939 to Curtis and Elizabeth (Keidash) Beaver.

A 1957 high school graduate, Eileen received a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Geneva College in 1961. After moving to Ohio in 1965, Eileen earned her Master's Degree in Adult Education from The Ohio State University. She taught computer programming at the Central Ohio Technical College for many years, and eventually retired from Limited Brands where she worked in quality control. Eileen enjoyed reading, computers and was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan.

She is survived by her children, Glenn Cartwright Jr., Catherine Cartwright, Dan (Jessica) Cartwright and their father, Glenn Cartwright Sr.; her sister-in-law Beverly Beaver; four grandchildren, Linda Cartwright, Jennifer (Jason) Campbell, Sarah (Tom) Davis, Taylor Cartwright; and 4 great-grandchildren, Konner Jewell, Kamryn Jewell, Emma Davis, and Keegan Campbell.

In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Beaver and daughter-in-law, Theresia Ann Cross.

Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 4-6 P.M., Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
