Funeral services celebrating the life of Diana M. Hoover, 56, of Heath, will be held at REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 1 P.M., Thursday, June 1, 2023, with Deacon Patrick Wilson as celebrant. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11-1 P.M., prior to the funeral service. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery will follow services.

Diana died at The Laurels on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She was born in Newark, Ohio on October 5, 1966, to the late Walter and Mary (Cornett) Scott.

Diana was a graduate of Licking Valley High School and worked as an inspector in the green room at THK.

She is survived by her longtime companion, George Pickrel; children, Marcus Hoover and Samuel (Taylor) Pickrel; grandson, Jason Hoover; siblings, Paul (Rhonda) Saling, Larry (Cindy) Saling, Charlie (Roberta) Scott, and Rose Scott; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Pickrel; and brother, Don (Kay) Saling.
