Daniel Wayne Morrison, 59, of Newark, passed away at his family home on December 29, 2021.  He was born in Mt. Gilead, Ohio on April 18, 1963, to James Sterling Morrison of Newark, and the late Zola (Noel) Morrison.

Daniel enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, attending concerts with his loved ones, and tinkering with anything that had a motor.  His favorite hobby was building motorized bicycles.

Daniel worked many jobs over the years, including tree removal and mechanic work on motorcycles and cars.

In addition to his father, Daniel is survived by his sisters, Wanda and Mydessia Morrison. He also had one daughter, Alexandria Rankin, raised with longtime best friend Evelyn Elder; and three beautiful grandchildren, Jessie, McKenzie, & Merle Rankin.

His brother, William John Morrison, sadly passed away only one week following Daniel's death.

No public funeral services will be observed.
