Private graveside funeral services celebrating the life of Doris Janet Tabler, 78, of Newark, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Fr. David Sizemore as celebrant.

Janet, a longtime parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, died at the Canal Winchester Care and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, March 31 2021.  She was born in Newark, Ohio on December 10, 1942, to the late Firman A. and Bernice (Kuhn) Wahl.

Janet began her career with Park National Bank in 1960, working in various departments over the years.  Upon retirement, Janet was branch manager of the 30 ^th Street PNB location.

With her husband, Dale, by her side, Janet loved to socialize and the two of them would often be seen out about the town. Whether it be at the Moose, the Elks Lodge, or on one of their many trips to Vegas, Janet and Dale enjoyed the life they lived.  Although she kept busy, Janet always had time for her great-grandchildren whom she adored.

She will be greatly missed by her; son, Craig Tabler; grandchildren, Abby Tabler and Justin (Cindy) Tabler; great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kalli, Gavin, and Lainey.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Dale E. Tabler.
