Funeral services celebrating the beautiful life of Clayton Edward Vaughn, 7 month old son of Shane Vaughn and Morgan Carver, will be held at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 4, 2018 with Fr. Dave Sizemore as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the guardian angel section at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11-1 P.M., Thursday, prior to the service.

In addition to his parents, Clayton is survived by his brothers, Colton, Weston, and Ayedan; maternal grandparents, T.J. and Crystal Mummey; paternal grandparents, Mark Vaughn and Kim Young; maternal great-grandparents, Libby Carver, Danny and Tina Mummey; paternal great-grandparents, Irene Vaughn, Floyd and Dot Young; aunts and uncle, Maddie and Tyson Mummey and Kayla and Allison Vaughn; and many great-aunts and uncles.

Clayton was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandpa, Claude Carver; and his paternal great-grandpa, John Vaughn.
