Funeral services celebrating the life of Chris J. Campolo, 62, of Newark, will be held at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, 11:30 A.M., Saturday, November 4, 2017 with Rev. Mr. Robert Ghiloni as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 9:30-11:30 A.M. Saturday, prior to the funeral service.

Chris died at his home on Friday, October 27, 2017. He was born in Newark, Ohio on July 2, 1955 to the late Francis J. and Mona J. (Vanderhoven) Campolo.

As a licensed social worker, Chris worked for many years with MRDD as a case manager. He is survived by his son, Marco Campolo; sisters, Ann (Eric) Anderson and Amy (Dave) Hartman; sister-in-law, Nancy Campolo; step-mother, Maria Campolo; nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by his brother, Francis G. Campolo; and nephew, Daniel A. Campolo.
