Private graveside services celebrating the life of Christine Marie Riley, 57, of Heath, will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Eno as officiant.

Christine, a member of Grace Brethren Church, died at the Selma Markowitz Care Center of Hospice of Central Ohio on Monday, July 2, 2018. She was born in Newark, Ohio on August 24, 1960 to Elizabeth (Hempel) George of Newark, and the late Keith Riley.

Christine was a 1979 graduate of Newark Catholic and the former JVS where she trained as a nurse aide. Following graduation, she received her EMT Certification and worked with the Dayton Fire Department.

She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and enjoyed fishing and working on crafts.

In addition to her mother, Christine is survived by her daughter, Shawna Winterbotham; sister, Linda Anne Riley; nephews, Sam (Brooke) Hilty and Michael (Kellie Ann) Hilty; niece, Natalie (Matthew) Mosher; and Dona and Nichole, two young girls that Christine embraced as "adopted granddaughters".
